IAmFilipino.com: The Facebook profile formerly known as IAm Filipino
The Facebook profile formerly known as IAm Filipino
Reports of the demise of IAm Filipino have been greatly exaggerated.
Long story short... IAm Filipino was a violation in the terms of use with Facebook and they decided to disable my account. Just a minor inconvenience really.
All my photo albums, wall posts, birthday greetings, gifts, applications... GONE! Every single group I was part of as an admin or co-admin... GONE. Every single event that I created, attended (or planned on attending)... GONE. All the emails, connections with friends - old and new... GONE. Oh ya, all my records in all those stupid, time wasting applications over the last two years.. GONE. I'm not sure how many pirates, vampires or friends I traded, killed or whatever... but like the rest, that's GONE!
Thus, Chapter 2 begins... this time, it's my real name and no more alias and nicknames. I will sadly miss the unique conversations when someone asks, "Who is IAm Filipino?" or "Aren't you IAm Filipino on Facebook?"
As one of the early adopters to the Facebook phenomenon and Web 2.0 social networking systems I look forward to starting (rebuilding .. arggghhhh) fresh. It might take a few months so if you can help by inviting me to groups that I was once part of, or even suggest friends I would greatly appreciate it.
Until the next time... logging off from Manila...
