Ryan Dungey - 2010 AMA 450CC MX Champion

Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey became only the 2nd rookie ever to win the AMA 450cc Motocross Championship (Ricky Carmichael was the first). Speaking of firsts, Ryan became the only rookie to win both the Supercross & Motocross Championships in the premier class in the same year as well. 

 

With two rounds still remaining, Dungey is tied for most wins in a season (9) with RC and looks to break that record at the next round at Steel City in Delmont, PA this upcoming weekend. Ryan has won nine-straight overalls and an incredible 10 motos in a row. In fact he's gone 1-1 at every race since Red Bud on 7/4/10.

      Come people including the commentators who keep saying he is the best ever! REALLY he raced himself all year! Duh let's get all the best racers back and add to the competition including all the... upcoming 250 racers going to the 450 class! Then he can prove himself to be the best if he can win against all them! If so, then hands down to Dungey. 2011 SX will be a whole new story!See More

      Hey dungey pulled a second last year 09 in sx as a lites rider.. He beat most of the big boys as a lites guy. He gave Stewart a good challenge at A1 and he raced smart and finished every race in 2010.... He has proved himself.
      The only ch...ampionships reed won were bc the top guys were injured..
      RV is a bitch and races for the money. No hart.. He is fast but has no drive to win..
