Sweet Rebellion: I Knew them when ..... hee hee!
I Knew them when ..... hee hee!
I Knew them when ..... hee hee!
Hey there fellow rebel supporters I followed the band to the Look North Studios in Leeds this week as they made their live TV debut on our very own regional programme to promote the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the upcoming charity single.
Needless to say the Rebels brought their usual chaos and energy to the what was prior to their arrival, a quiet and relaxed atmosphere but pretty soon the green room was awash with tea and bottled water and lots of warm up vocals.
The Look North team made us very welcome and the Rebels went into make up one by one - Nik came out a little star struck after she found herself in make up with Harry Gration having seen her in her living room around teatime for quite a few years - she came out muttering something about it being a bit sureal.
Ya had to feel for Libbi a bit as she had the inenviable task of setting the Rebels off for a bit of a rendition of the single - aargh without music - but as you would expect she led the Rebels into a luvverly bit of harmony - good on ya lass!!
The interview went well and as always it was hard to shut em up but Harry seemed to appreciate the enthusiasm - however the award for most impressed person of the evening went to our weatherman Paul Hudson who genuinely enthused about the Rebels before doing his weather thang'. Big love goes out to ya Paul from all the Rebels!!!
All in all another enjoyable lil' road trip for the girlies and new friends made along the way - keep checkin in for updates on the single and what the Rebels are up to - back with more gossip soon.
