Reggae/Ska Wednesdays at The Anarchy Library

The Anarchy Library has been described as the CBGB's of the west coast, located in the greater Los Angeles area. They are a rock n' roll/punk rock bar, but are now broadening their bookings to Reggae/Ska every Wednesday night. Submissions are only open to Reggae/Ska and similar styles. Compensation includes a $100 guarantee plus drink tickets for the band members (21+).

Artists are booked up to 3 months in advance and they currently have some amazing bands play at their Wednesday night series including The Royal Vibes, Panasea and Stepping Razor. There is no cover charge and local draw is not necessary, but it is encouraged. Bands that draw will be invited to play again with a pay increase. Typically, bands play a 1 hour set and they have a resident DJ that spins before and after the bands. The venue provides a PA, sound engineer, lights, fog, the stage, crowd, drink tickets for the band and compensation. This is a great venue for local bands interested in an artist friendly venue/show, as well as up-and-coming bands and touring bands looking to build a following.
