Copenhagen, Denmark: Casino Copenhagen will host the European Poker Tour (EPT) 2009 Scandinavian Open from Monday, February 16th through Saturday, February 21st, 2009. During all six days of the 2009 Scandinavian Open poker festival, players can also participate in Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games as well as sit & go tournaments. Monday, February 16th at 4:30pm
5,000 dkk buy-in (€670) - Texas Hold’em No Limit
The tournament has an expected first prize of more than 120,000 dkk (approx. €16,000) and a prize pool of 500,000 dkk (approx. €65,000). 100 players max.

Tuesday, February 17th – Saturday 21st at 2pm
European Poker Tour – 50,000 dkk buy-in (€ 6,700) - Texas Hold’em No Limit
Day 1A and day 1B will be played on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th (500 players max. each day), day 2 on Thursday 19th, day 3 on Friday 20th and the final on Saturday 21st February 2009.
The tournament has an expected first prize of almost seven million Danish kroner (approx. €934,000) and a total prize pool of 24 million dkk (approx. €3.2 million).
The tournament starts at 2 pm on all days. The casino reception opens at 12 pm for registration of players. The winner of the tournament will win an entry into the EPT Grand Final event in Monte Carlo.

Thursday, February 19th and Friday, February 20th
10,000 dkk buy-in (app. €1,340) - Texas Hold’em No Limit
The tournament which is played over two days, has an expected first prize of 240,000 dkk (€32,000) and a prize pool of almost 1 million dkk (€129,000). Starting time on Thursday at 7 pm and on Friday at 4:30 pm. 100 players max.

Saturday February, 21st at 4:30pm
2,500 dkk buy-in (€340) - Texas Hold’em No Limit
The tournament has an expected first prize of 60,000 dkk (approx. €8,000) and a prize pool of 240.000 dkk (€32,000). Starting time Saturday at 4.30 pm. 100 players max.
