The applicant must be someone who is about to burn out in their job. They take a 1 year leave-of-absence from their job, take a year off to investigate Universities and look at their course catalogs. At the end of the year they will decide their previous job was not so bad after all and will admit that they are suited to it, will go back to said job refreshed and full of enthusiasim!

See Morecompany to buy all the shares of Suzy's Diet Coke stand and force her out of business? Then you sold home loans to all the street corners on your street to your 9-year-old friends? And then you created Mortgage-Backed derivatives and sold them to institutions and banks, crashing the global economy? So then you decided to go back to school?

My scholarship is called the "Why We Need Regulation Scholarship for Little Kids Who Sell Lemonade on the Corner." Hi-C and Kool-Aid vendors will also be considered.

Would I be correct in assuming that, if you win, the shirt you'd pick would be "When Life Gives You Scurvy, Make Lemonade."?

It would fit but only if the t-shirt were one size fits all! Then we could all wear it together!

My scholarship would be the "Lesson Learned" scholarship. The criteria would simply be for the applicant to turn in an essay (or, if available, a video of the actual moment) recounting the most embarrassing moment in his/her life, and how that event has helped him/her to prepare for college and beyond. Extra points will be given for artistic visual... See More aids, such as illustrative dioramas, musical accompaniments, or photographic journals. Because every applicant will be reliving this (usually) horrific moment, all applicants will receive a hand-written thank you note expressing my gratitude that they were willing to do it in the first place. The winner will receive $10,000 and a chance to change what could have been a life-defining moment into a stepping stone into a more promising (and less embarrassing) future.
