***WEATHER ALERT***

by San Jacinto College on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 8:00am ·

Good morning. As you already are aware, due to TS Hermine, the Houston area will receive rain throughout the day today and into tomorrow and a flash flood watch is in effect.  San Jacinto College is monitoring the weather situation, and will continue to do so overnight. We will issue any necessary information to students and employees as conditions warrant.

Please note that our primary form of communication with the San Jacinto College community during a weather event will be through email and text messages, as well as the San Jacinto College website (www.sanjac.edu) and emergency information line (1-866-504-5853). Please log in to the SJC Alert Me system through S.O.S. and check to make sure that you have entered a cell phone number and selected a provider in the cell phone box. If you list a cell phone number as your home number, and do not enter any information in the cell phone area, you will not receive a text message.   Please remain aware of your surroundings and use caution when driving today.
