Did you know that blind people CAN use the internet?

However very few are.Around 5% in North AmericaThis initiative is about to change all that

You can be a part of it

People are very often blind for no fault of their own. Online communication is a massive part of many of our lives including our jobs and we take it for granted

We are developing technologies and support systems to bring accessibility to blind people worldwide. Then they will work and communicate just like everyone else.

For example check out what Lee Dong Yol in Tokyo has developed here for example

http://www.waaotn.net/

This is just one system that we are promoting and developing.

Starting in Australasia and North America we have a 5 year goal to bring software for blind people to every public library in the world. We have found 1800 blind people in around 80 different cities who are using twitter and facebook. We will train them to become coaches to others that are not.

Firstly we need seed capital and we need your support by sharing this "event" You can also support us by following and retweeting our Twitter account http://twitter.com/websight4all

Most of all we need a small amount of funding to complete our virtual reality software for blind peopleWe hope to promote this and work more on it at the forthcoming Start Up Weekend Tokyo

We are a non profit and we do not expect this for free. This is not a donation. This money will be refunded to you once we balance the books via sales

We also offer bi weekly Social Media webinars to those who donate.Donors will be emailed with links to these webinars and their recordingsRecommended donation is $10 but you are free to send what you like

$10 may not seem much but it will make a massive difference

Thank you
