SCSU Hoot Loot ID Card Now Accepted at More Than 30 Off Campus Locations

Southern Connecticut State University has partnered with Off-Campus Advantage™ to expand its already extensive network of off campus merchants that accept the SCSU Hoot Loot Debit Card. Students, faculty and staff can utilize their SCSU Hoot Loot ID Card for purchases at area merchants in New Haven and Hamden, including Applebee’s, Domino’s Pizza, Five Guys Famous Burgers, Meineke Car Care Center and Three Brothers Diner.

New merchants now participating in the Hoot Loot Debit Card Program include: AAA Pizza & Restaurant, Indochine Pavilion Restaurant, Spooner Restaurant & Pizza, Wing Madness and Wings Over Hamden. In addition to our expansive network of off campus merchants, the SCSU Hoot Loot Debit Card is also accepted on campus at all Food Service locations, including the Adanti Student Center food court and Dunkin Donuts, all beverage and snack machines, the SCSU Barnes & Noble Bookstore, TYCO Copy Center, campus Fitness Center and more.

SCSU Hoot Loot ID Cardholders can deposit money onto their Hoot Loot accounts online by visiting http://hootloot.SouthernCT.edu. With the Hoot Loot debit account there is no need to worry about credit card interest or charges, the possibility of overdrawing the account or carrying cash around campus. There are no fees for the Hoot Loot debit account and balances will decline with each purchase you make. Hoot Loot can be utilized year-round and your balance will carry over from year-to-year, and is protected if reported lost/stolen.
