There were plenty of Oscar-worth performances and dramatic moments!  Congratulations, first of all, go to The Zipperheads for holding off the challengers to take their first victory of the new session.  They lead by three points at the end of rounds 4 and 5, but turned on the afterburners for round 6 and walked away with the night (and the $25 Elks Gift Certifcate!).  They ended up with 1093 points claiming 43 of 60 questions.

The biggest comeback of the night goes to The Mighty Lambkins!  They managed a hogger in the 240 visual round and climbed up into 2nd place overall in the LAST round!  They finished with 35 of 60 correct for 985 points.  The impressive thing about this victory is that they play with only THREE players.  Their per capita score tonight was 328 points!  GREAT job to them.

A special nod also goes to The Virgins for keeping the heat on all night.  They have been a dangerous opponent since they have started to play.  Many times tonight they challenged for the lead.  It won’t be long before they walk home with their first victory, I can just feel it.  Great job to your group tonight.

The Zipperheads have now climbed into 2nd overall for the season on total points, questions correct and padded their lead in the per capita leader board.

Not to be forgotten is The A-Team, who was not far out of the running this evening.  39 correct for 905 points is not far from the top.  Nice job.
