FiftyFifty's Eclipse Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout just won a Silver Medal at the Australian International Beer Awards in the Wood Age Beer Category.

"The Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) is the pre-eminent showcase for premium beer and brewing excellence in the Asia Pacific Region. 1074 entries from 42 countries were received this year at the 2008 AIBA, securing its place as the second largest beer competition of its type in the world."

For FiftyFifty, having our beer survive the trip and the 130 degree Tarmac was challenge enough, but to have it come home with a medal is just awesome.
