Diva Jammers: Announcing the Summer 2009 Diva Jammer Pledge Class
LOS ANGELES, CA (JUNE 1st, 2009)- Diva Jammers are proud to announce the Summer 2009 Pledge class.
"We received five bids for DJ membership, we're really excited," says OG DJ member, Laguna Beyatch.
The month of June is rush month for the pledges. They will have to participate in a number of DJ events and competitions, including a photo shoot challenge. Gori Spelling explains, "Our Facebook Fans will be asked to vote on certain challenges to help determine the winner!"
Now it's time to meet the pledges!
Long Island Lolita:
Confident from Day One, Long Island Lolita has been pre-pledging on her own, for about 2 months now... Her resume boasts Captain of the Varsity Brawlers, as well as being one of their best jammers. Her last boutfit consisted of shorts that read: "I'm Hot". Need we say more?
Suzy Snakeyes:
As the originator of the 'Time Out Photo Shoot', Suzy has all the characteristics of a true Diva. She has yet to score an abundance of points in a bout, but the Diva Jammers feel with a little coaching she can really step up her game!
B-Train:
Although not an LADD member (she is an Orange County Roller Girl), B-Train was voted OCRGs league MVP and the 'Best Jammer' for both the Psycho Ex Girlfriends and OCRG's travel team. B-Train helps the current Diva Jammers look fabulous by customizing their bout attire, through her company 'Wicked Skatewear.'
Stefcon 1:
With just one day left before the pledge class was announced, Stefcon 1 jammed her way to tie Gori Spelling with 'Top Point Scorer' for the May 30th Sirens v Tough Cookies bout. W00T!
Thomas Refferson:
To the Diva Jammers surprise, we received a male pledge! Thomas Refferson is widely regarded as one of the best skating referees. He may not meet some of the recommended DJ qualifications for membership (we couldn't even find a photo of him jamming on the internet), but he has so much enthusiasm, how could we say no!?!
