Through all of this pain and frustration with Belle, all of this hard work and training, I’d almost forgotten how much fun it is to start them, especially when they’re good little soldiers with a decent work ethic.

That describes our Daisy—who came to live with us about a year ago. Daisy belongs to Jenny, who had to move to Mexico City because of her job. Jenny appointed Kathleen official Daisy caretaker, but I’ve grown attached to her, too.
