Many thanks to all of you who have taken the time to contribute to the forthcoming Eumom book: your stories have been fantastic! Lucy, who works on the book at the moment, is still looking for some more very specific stories on the following topics:


- Twin births, in particular if anyone has had a vaginal delivery of their twins?
- Anyone who would have used self-hypnosis or relaxation techniques during labour?
- Long birth stories
- Homebirths
- Anyone having used Pethadine? How did it make you feel? Did it help?
- Epidural: how did you feel, any drawbacks (if any)? A lot of women have said it was “fantastic” (boy do I agree!), so we are looking for a little bit more details.
- Episiotomy: has anyone had one?
- Breech: has anyone delivered a baby in breech position?
- Orgasmic birth: apparently some women have experienced an orgasm during labour.... If you have, we really need to hear about your experience!
- Posterial birth: when your baby is in a posterior position
- We are also looking for more stories on how you felt in the first few days after giving birth (physically, emotionally), when still in hospital or heading back home.
