Our youngest male gladiator - and pro wrestling ace - talks about his memories of the old series and what we can expect from him in the new one...

What are your memories of the original series of Gladiators?
I'm the youngest male Gladiator, I'm only 21, so I remember looking at the Gladiators as iconic, almost superhero characters. I remember the bigger characters like Shadow and Wolf and I was quite awestruck by the whole spectacle of it.

Who was your favourite Gladiator?
Saracen.

What qualities does a Gladiator need?
They need to look good and have personality, fitness and a presence, because to me it's all about the spectacle.

What can the audience expect from Oblivion?
Someone who puts 110 per cent into everything and gives as high an entertainment value as possible.

Do you have any words of warning for the Contenders?
Well, apparently the Contenders are putting the word out that they're not scared of the Gladiators, but if these weekend warriors think they're going to come into our arena and bring it to us, then they're dead wrong.

Which events are you most looking forward to?
Wall and Hang Tough.

If you were an animal what would you be?
A Siberian tiger.

What are your favourite TV programmes?
The Simpsons and American Inventor.
