Love Can Take It's Notes
View: Full | Compact
Love Can Take It is a big project, and requires a lot of effort from a lot of people. We aren't accepting counselors yet since our counselor system is still under construction, but that doesn't mean you should shy away from applying! You can sign up at join.lovecantakeit.org. Almost nothing is "mandatory" but if it is 50% complete or less, it will be automatically rejected. We want to know who is representing our organization, so the more you tell us, the more likely we are to accept you.
If you'd like to become staff, we have several requirements, and the application process is very different. First, you have to live in Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, or Florida. The closer to Atlanta, the better. You have to be familiar with basic web applications as you will be using our email suite and our CRM (ill post requirements for tech team in a different note). We need to know about your personality, your age, gender, marital status, qualifications (not required), any special abilities, your personal email address, a short narrative on why you'd like to join, and a short narrative on why we should accept you. If you somehow combine them, that's fine. We'd also like to know about your education and if you have references, that would help. Remember: this organization is run by high school students, so don't be ashamed if you don't have a Ph.D. or insane qualifications. Just be honest. Reading applcations can be boring, so we appreciate creativity. To turn them in, email them to mikeburroughs@lovecantakei t.org, with the subject "Staff application". We accept most types of Office documents, PDF's, JPG's, or you can tell us everything right in the email. I'm a geek, so I can open just about any type of file (that's not an invitation to make reading your application a challenge). Any questions, email the above address. Thanks!

(P.S. Applications like this will not be accepted.)
It's way too hard to read and we just don't wanna deal with it.

To submit, email applications@lovecantakeit .org. If the App is under 5 megabytes, ZIP/RAR archive it and email it as an attachment. If above that, post it as a password protected ZIP or RAR archive on a site such as MegaUpload or RapidShare, and email me the link and password for it. The email must include a full description of the app, it's features, capabilities, user requirements and our requirements to manage it. Please understand once it is uploaded, it becomes property of Love Can Take It and we have full legal right to use the app as we please, however we will give the developer credit for the development of the application.
