Full Payment is due the first day of your WinTerm class.


Spring 2010
January 29th: 10% of Tuition is DUE
February 28th: Full Payment is DUE
1. Log into Access Stout
3. Click on 'Self Services', which brings more options.
4. Click on Student Center.
5. On the right hand side of this screen there is a box labeled 'Holds' and here is where your holds will be listed.

In this box if it says...

“Past Balance Due”
You have a balance on your student account. You can check your balance by clicking on Campus Finances and Account Inquiry. You can make a payment online using a credit card (VISA is not accepted) or an e-check by using your account number and routing number from your bank account. Or you can come into Student Business Services with cash, check, money order or cashier check.

“Complete Fee Payment Agreement”
You will want to fill that form out. You can do this right there on that page.
1. In the middle of the screen under 'Finances' click on the link 'Fee Payment Agreement'.
2. An instruction box may pop up, click OK.
3. Read through the Agreement Plan before filling it out.
4. Click on the dropbox 'Residency & Marital Status' and choose the option that fits you.
5. If you are a WI Resident OR if Married/Separated you will have to fill out the bottom portion as well.
6. Click 'Save' when you are finished and that will automatically remove the hold on your account.

“Advising Session Required”
You must contact your advisor before you are allowed to register. Only they can remove that hold so you are able to register.
You can make tuition payments by e-check at no charge through your StoutOne card.

1.Go to the Higher One website at www.uwstoutone.com.

2.Log in.

3.Go to online statement.

4.On the top middle of the page carefully copy your
Account Number (checking)
Routing Number

5.Log into Access Stout

6.Click on Self Service then Student Center

7.Scroll down to finances and click ‘Make a Payment’

8.Fill out the information and.
Make sure you choose checking if using your Stout One card
Be careful when entering your account numbers, copy and paste the numbers if possible to reduce the chances of mistakes.

9.Enter the amount you would like to pay.

10.Double check the information you have entered and finalize the payment by
Clicking the “Yes, I have read the agreement” box
Note: The students People Soft ID# will default in

11.You will receive a confirmation and the payment will be applied to the student’s account.
The payment will not be debited from your bank account immediately. It is an overnight process and will get transferred the next morning.


You can also use any debit card, but you must use the account and routing numbers located on your checks or savings account. If you do not have checks, you can call your bank to get this information.

We also accept MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. However, a service fee of 2.75% (minimum of $3.00) of the payment amount will be assessed to your final payment.

PLEASE CAREFULLY AND ACCURATELY ENTER ALL ACCOUNT NUMBERS AND INFORMATION! OUR SYSTEM WILL ACCEPT ANY ACCOUNT NUMBER, IF ENTERED INCORRECTLY, THE PAYMENT COULD BE RETURNED AND A $20.00 FEE WILL BE ASSESSED.

There is now a way you can veiw what your holds are that may be stopping you from Registration!

1. Log into the "OLD Access Stout" and clicking on 'Register/Add/Drop Sections (Fall '09 and beyond)' you will then be brought to the "NEW Access Stout".
2. Log in again with your usual username and password.
3. This will bring you to a screen and on the left hand side click on 'Self Services', which brings more options.
4. Click Student Center.
5. On the right hand side of this screen there is a box labled 'Holds' and here is where your holds will be listed.

You have a balance on your student account. You can check your account balance anytime at the "old" Access Stout. Balances can be paid online at the "OLD Access Stout" with a credit card or echeck OR at our office at 125 Administration Building.
