First and foremost we want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and interest in our little Inn throughout 2008. We are truly blessed to live and work in this beautiful Victorian home, and being an innkeeper is still a pleasure, even after almost four years of bathroom cleaning! The real joy comes from all the friends we’ve made and happy times we’ve shared with you. So heres wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy, and not too economically challenging, 2009!
Got Snow?
Oh yeah! We’re buried in the stuff. Chester is transformed just in time for a perfect “White Christmas”. With 10 inches on Friday and another 8-10 today (Sunday) its so pretty. The skiing is amazing, the sleighs are running, the snowmobiles are starting their engines and the only thing missing is you! So pack your hat and gloves and come on up!
But can you believe it’s nearly Christmas? For Jon and I it’s been a pretty hectic couple of months. We had the prettiest Fall foliage for years, and the Inn was almost fully booked for the whole month of October – in fact we are already taking bookings for next year so if you are thinking about coming then why not get the room of your choice reserved now – remember we make NO charge until you leave!

Even with the doom and gloom of the economy our forward bookings are fairly healthy, but we can always accommodate a few more. Because we’re all feeling the pinch these days we have put together some amazing deals on room rates. Moonlight and Mistletoe on the Hallmark channel
I told you in my spring newsletter that I’d been cast as an extra in the Moonlight and Mistletoe Christmas Film – we’ll I didn’t end up on the cutting room floor – I made it into the movie! Its not actually a “great” movie so I won’t make you watch it all the way through to spot me – but in the first five minutes look out for grumpy faced woman dodging the camera – its me!
I won’t be giving up my day job yet!

Rings and things…..
Congratulations to Gwenette and Mark from Louisiana, who chose Inn Victoria for their September wedding. It was such a happy day.
To Alex and Anat, Mark and Jennifer, Rebecca and Eric, Heather and Paul, and everyone else that honeymooned with us over the past few months!
…and finally congratulations to Jay and Amy on their engagement last weekend!
