Great use of state resources to put our business people in face to face contact with companies that will bring much need jobs and money to our counties. I can tell you Greene County would love to land a Chinese or Japanese company. We have a good and trustd workforce. Now all we need is opportunity. Gov. Daniels in helping to create opportunity for all Hoosiers. Keep up the good work Mitch!!!!

Mitch unveils Cummins, Inc. hybrid bus in Hangzhou, China

September 9, 2009- Governor Daniels helped unveil a new Cummins, Inc.-powered hybrid bus line purchased by the local transit authority in Hangzhou as a part of the provinces efforts to use cleaner and more fuel efficient technology for public transportation. The hybrid buses use 20 -30 percent less fuel than conventional buses and substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Hangzhou Public Transit Authority currently owns more than 1,300 Cummins-powered traditionally-fueled buses and is beginning to transition this year to hybrid buses. View here.

Following his remarks at the American Chamber of Commerce Greentech: A Call to Action confrence in Shanghai, China, Governor Daniels participated in a panel discussion. This video, which is about 8 1/2 minutes, includes the governor's responses to questions as well as those from Orville Schell, the Asia Society's Arthur Ross Center Director on U.S.-China Relations. The panel moderator is Kristen Durham, senior analyst and China activities coordinator for the San Francisco Bay Area Council.

I'm sooo glad to see there are others who think Lugar suffers from dementia! It is past time for him to go but we can't do anything about it until 2012. Bayh was useless as Gov, well except for wasting the surplus money he inheritied from the previous adminstration. He did nothing for this State and continues the tradition as Senator. His wife's ... See Morenot doing bad with the $2 mil she's been paid by private ins co for being on their board of directors. Hmmmm, conflict of interest when voting on Obama's plan???? And the Ride w/the Gov is great. Police escort so you don't put your foot down until he makes a stop. The turn-out along the way is amazing.
