Recently Katrina did a generation shoot for Brisbane photographer Sarah. The shoot was of Sarah's Oma, with her daughters and then all their daughters! It was a huge generation shoot of 16 women! This is what Sarah and Katrina had to say….
"The shoot was lots of fun and there were loads of giggles! I really appreciate more than ever now, how much organization goes into a generation shoot trying to organise everyone from all different places, it isn't an easy task- But it was definitely worth it as we will have so many gorgeous photographs to treasue forever! The girls at Katrina Christ Photographer would like to share some beautiful images of the lovely Jacqui and her hubby-to-be Malcolm. Jacqui has been with the Melbourne studio for over two years as our talented digital retoucher. She is the lady who adds that special magic to your beautiful images and makes sure they look absolutely perfect before they adorn your walls!
Together for eight years, Malcolm proposed to Jacqui at the Mossvale Music Festival on stage much to Jacqui's delight (and embarrassment)! The beautiful twilight ceremony will be held in Mt Evelyn, at the base of the Mount Dandenong ranges - a region well worth a visit for day trippers who are looking to explore the abundance of attractions the mountains have to offer.

Jacqui’s personal photo shoot was held in her new home, incorporating her beautiful verandah and gardens in our very popular ‘Lifestyle’ style of shoot. Jacqui was pampered with a beautiful natural make-up and the afternoon was spent having a fantastic time and getting some really special images, which we are sure you will agree are stunning!
Jacqui will look even more beautiful and radiant on her special evening and Nami, Margot and Jess all look forward to seeing her stunning dress and all the trimmings!

The 2009 PMA show and Australian Professional Photographer Awards where held this year on the 26th - 29th June in Darling Harbor, Sydney. The exhibition brings the best photographers from across Australia, to share together their work & inspire each other.
What a fabulous exhibition for us nerdy photographers here at KCP team, Alanna & Sarah from Brisbane & Bec from our Sydney studio. The girls enjoyed watching the very serious APPA judging, as we waited in anticipation for Katrina’s Prints. As she was the only highly organized person this year to enter, we all had a little cheer as she received 1 – silver distinction & 2- silver awards, for her beautiful work. We are all ever so proud of these achievements.
By night we giggled away in the streets of Sydney. Enjoying an amazing Vegetarian meal at Yulli’s, a groovy wine bar/ restaurant, in Surry hills. The owner created the restaurant based around his sister, who sadly passed away. She was a vegetarian so he put together a spectacular restaurant hanging her records on the walls, playing only her favorite music, with pretty fairy lights out the back, in memory of her loves in life, it had an amazing atmosphere and the most incredible vegetarian cuisine we have ever had the pleasure to eat.
All & all a fabulous weekend filled with inspiring passionate photographers and lots of fun for the girlies.
