Top Mafia
Everyone should know about the Top Mafia Positions in Mafia Wars. If you don't, here are some primers:

By assigning people to these positions, you get bonus's added to the tasks you do in the game. The people you assign to these positions also get bonuses for being in someone else's Top Mafia.
Yet, according to Zynga's Top Mafia Descriptions, only Fearless Characters can be assigned to Wheelman, only Maniacs can be Buttonman and only Moguls can be Bagman. Or so they want you to think.
Here is a Top Mafia in which I, a Mogul, hold every single position:
As you can see, I hold every position for this player's Top Mafia. Unfortunately, this player does not get a Wheelman or Buttonman bonus for having me in those positions (designated by a hyphen (-) for the bonus). But it is not them that I am concerned about. Since I am in those positions, I get the bonus for holding them as seen here:

How to Do It
So, How do you get someone assigned to all these positions? Just use the follow this guide (we will use Buttonman for this):
Open the "My Mafia" page. Click the "Promote" button next to someone's stats. You will be presented with a screen like this:
Select the position you want to assign a player to that they cannot hold. Right click the "promote" button and select "Open in a New Window" or "Open in a New Tab". This person will now be promoted to that position in the new tab. Now take the URL from the address bar and replace the UID of that person with someone that cannot hold the position.
The URL should look like this:

Using this, you can assign anyone of any job class to any position. Fearless can now be Buttonman and Safecracker. Maniacs can be Wheelman and Safecracker. Moguls can be Wheelman and Buttonman. You can even assign the same person into more than one position using this technique as seen above.
So the benifits here is that people who originally could not get some benefits can now and now you can promote the same person to more than one position. SO if you have someone that is a Max Mastermind and Wheelman, you can have them in both positions. Here is a screenshot showing the benefits ...
Here is a screenshot of where a Maniac character got to do a job with the Wheelman bonus (this is normally only reserved for the "Fearless" character type).
The "Uncle Sam" achievement might be the hardest achievement to earn for lower level people. It requires obtaining 50 Federal Agents. This item isn't even normally obtainable until you are well over level 100. No worries ... "Top Mafia Santa" service to the rescue.

Then Select the amount.. NOTE: Since the massive update you can only send 1 item per time.. I will show you how to send More then 1..
Pay Attention to the Gift ID The Screenshot isnt the greatest.. The Top Gift id # is 15 and you can change it in the link to any # im assuming its 0 through whatever.. i changed it to #23 and got a different item..
also this is a work around to send someone something thats not on there wishlist....

To run this, 1st go to the properties page, then click bookmarklet. Fairly straight forward.

This current version of bookmarklet doesn't auto-buy properties, you get to do that part yourself. From speaking with EZK, that is definitely a planned feature that he is wanting to implement.

Step 4: Repeat Process
Depending on your own situation, you may want to buy 10 properties and the re-run the bookmarklet (only requires a click of the button anyway). If there is a big disproportion (as in my screenshots with abandoned lots ... may want to buy a bunch before re-running bookmarklet.

First off Ive been Playing Mafia wars since it came out last July ??? Not sure when it actually came out but i started playing it when it was brand new .... anyway heres what i did .. First off.. i started this account with no friends and used the mass email threads around.. then i started my mafia wars account...
I put everything and i do mean every skill point into energy.. once you hit lvl 100 you should have at least 750 energy if not more... not sure how that works but if you just do jobs and fighting it should be that much... now once i hit lvl 200 and completed the underboss tier which gave me more exp for the energy usage.. so i did the first boss job.... Settle a Beef... Permanently

Around lvl 200 i had about 1200 energy.. and it only took about 2400 exp to lvl.. im not sure about the #'s and im sure there not right .. but either way it was close enough.. so i tried it i was able to gain 200 lvls in a week using the first boss tier job... cause worst case i would have to wait 15 mins for energy and stamina to refill enough to lvl.. and i would use GF points to suppliment my energy.. so here i am lvl 400 after about 1 month and 1 week.. so i go up about 200 lvls in a couple of weeks and people ask me how did i do it?
Simply put .. Start with putting all into energy .. get the collection items.. This is why it helps haveing more then 1 account.. once you get up to lvl 200 do the 1st boss tier job do that repeatedly and you will end up in a short time lvling like crazy..
now all i have left do is share what i have learned over the last year..

Don't open @ work with the boss leaning over your shoulder!
There is nothing worse then playing a simple game at work, or at home with kids/friends present, and finding names such as the ones below show up on your screen, there is a 'Report abusive behavior' link that you can click and report, but with Zynga's reputation of taking such 'fast action' on problems, this seems like a much better way of dealing with this! So attack and rob @ will, but remember if your loosing they are getting free XP! So only hit them if your winning!
These players are selected for based on the vulgarity or the moral/ethical offensiveness of their name to myself and the general public
IF/WHEN they have changed their names, accept that as mission complete, and stop robbing them and leave a comment so they can be removed from the lists
if you find anyone NOT on the list, leave their name and link as a comment, and they will be added to this lists! All Comments will be deleted when updating this Note with new names (about once a week)
N.B. Himmler, and Hitler are REAL German names, these will not be added to this list, 'Adolph Hitler' and 'Himmler SS' are pushing the limit and will be kept on this list untill their names are changed
Also PLEASE when attacking these players if your not winning, move onto the next player (they are getting FREE XP, some have made 70 Levels in 6 days!)
And Also remember once they are dead your aren't doing any damage to them, move onto the next person on the list, its much better to take out 5 players and cost them 6xp EACH then waste 50 stamina when the first 2 attacks took them out!

If you haven't started using Vern's Mafia Wars Tools, http://vern.com/mwtools/ ... then you're really missing out on some great stuff. These bookmarklets have made my life easier and allow me to grow my mafia larger and faster ... and most importantly having MORE FUN doing so.
