Engaging Loveland, Inc.: Sounds of Centerra at Chapungu – The Kory Brunson Band

Sounds of Centerra at Chapungu – The Kory Brunson Band
This summer’s second annual Sounds of Centerra brings The Kory Brunson Band to perform Friday, July 24.

The concert will be held from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Chapungu Sculpture Park, 5971 Sky Pond Drive, just east of the Promenade Shops at Centerra and is free to the public.

Seven years ago, the Kory Brunson Band was formed by Brunson, but guitarist/songwriter Craig Bennington has as much to do with the accomplishments of the group as Brunson does.

The band has the markings of being the second unsigned act broadcasted on national radio station KYGO. The band’s music can also be heard on numerous other top radio stations in Colorado such as KVAY, KNNG, and The Moose.

The Kory Brunson Band has toured across America, along with highlights at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., the Old Mile Hi stadium, Red Rocks, and an opening spot for Gretchen Wilson.

“Corporate country” is how the Brunson gang characterize themselves. The band says they are more relaxed being matched up to to Journey or Def Leppard, with a little bit of Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban.

Again, admission to this concert is free. Beverages and food will be available for purchase, as well as a Beer Garden.
