Please note that the Avon RRFM has closed.  The location in Waves will be open until December 14th.  After that, the location at the former Griggs Lumber building in Manteo will continue to serve the needs of Dare County, including Hatteras Island, residents.

 

There is no more room for clothing in Waves!  Please feel free to contribute other needed items from the list below! Thank you.

CURRENT MOST NEEDED/REQUESTED ITEMS:

  • Space Heaters
  • Electric Skillets
  • Blankets
  • Towels and Hand Towels
  • Deodorant
  • paper towels, toilet paper
  • Dish detergent and Laundry Detergent & Cleaning Supplies
  • Diapers and wipes, baby powder
  • Non perishable food items, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner fixings (stuffing mix, canned gravy, green beans, biscuit mix, cranberry sauce) and any kind of non-perishable (canned or dried) proteins (tuna, chicken, beans & franks,) and children's snacks (granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, peanut butter/jelly, pretzels)
  • Cat Food/Kitty Littler

MONETARY DONATIONS FOR THE FOOD PANTRIES, THAT WILL HELP TO SUSTAIN EVERYONE THROUGH THE WINTER:  Monetary donations can be made by check to United Methodist Men and sent to Hatteras Island Food Pantry at P.O. Box  1591,  Buxton, N.C. 27920, or to Lifeboat Community Church Food Pantry at PO BOX 84  Salvo, NC 27972.  Your donation is tax deductible.
