Guide For Partying In SF During The Bay Bridge Closure
If you live in the East Bay you probably already know that the Bay Bridge is going to be closing for a few days. Don't let it stop you from having fun! There are some really great shows happening in city over this President's Day weekend, like Judgement Day, Whiskerman and Matthew Jospeh Payne at The Rickshaw Stop on Friday. Don't miss out!
Here are a few tips for navigating into San Francisco during the bridge closure:
1. Bart Runs All Night!
Who wants to drive anyway? Meet up with a group of your friends at MacArthur station or any of the other open stations and ride the train in. You can find a list of the open BART stations here.
2. The Bottom Deck Isn't Closing!
Only the top, west-bound deck of the bridge is closing, so if you make it into the city you can drive home with no problems.
3. Happy Hour Before The Bridge Closes at 8pm!
The closure happens at 8pm on Friday night, so if you make it over before then you're home free! It's a perfect excuse to hit one of SF's many excellent Happy Hours. Here's a list of Happy Hours close to Rickshaw.
SEE YOU IN SAN FRANCISCO!
