Small businesses play an important role in the U.S. economy and are a strong driver of job growth and innovation and President Obama continues to advocate on behalf of small businesses. From helping to increase access to capital, to investing in main street banks that lend to main street business, to tax credits for health insurance, the Obama administration has worked hard to provide relief and assistance.

Ben J is case in point. Ben owns a small office supply company that has been in business for more than 20 years. He has six full time employees and firsthand experience of how the administration’s policies are helping small businesses throughout the country.

Ben provides his employees with health insurance and is especially excited about the Affordable Care Act. Ben has seen his share of challenges with especially when it comes to health care cost.  After the passing of the Affordable Care Act, Ben has actually seen his health care premium costs go down. And because Ben offers health insurance to his six employees, he is eligible for up to 35% of  his premium dollars in a tax credit.

Why is Ben IN for Obama 2012? Because “President Obama is helping our nation recover from near disaster and we have to make sure that President Obama has the opportunity to continue the change that he has started – that why I am in”.
