Well we are almost half way through Campaign 2009 and things are going fantastic! The Premier was here on the first official day of the campaign, providing the upbeat and fast-paced momentum we needed to get our team going in full-gear. It was great to reflect on the last eight years of positive development here in the North, as the Premier, Pat Bell and I toured the city to look at the Northern Sports Centre, the Gateway complex, the Simon Fraser Bridge, and attended the campaign rally with hundreds of our supporters.

I made several visits to the Robson Valley in the past few weeks, visiting friends and campaign team members. Again it gave me time to reflect on all the projects that our Government has made possible in the past eight years: Dunster Bridge rehabilitation project, paving galore, the McBride Community Hall, a new Tourism Info Centre for Valemount and so many other fantastic developments.

Thanks to everyone who is already out and about helping me on the campaign. We have a huge team this year - it is terrific to see so many people working together to ensure we have another 4 years of strong leadership. There is always more room on Team Bond and Bell, so feel free to stop by the campaign office if you're interested in helping out in any way, or just want to see where all the action is ;) We've got a busy few weeks ahead of us, which I am really looking forward to!
