    • Lisa Pinkie Mcfarlane my cheap date idea is just a simple candlelit romantic dinner for two at home i cook and he sets the table and the mood, some music and cuddles. after 6 uears as long as im spending time with my man it doesnt matter what we are doing. this is the best way for us to have a romantic evening because it doesnt cost anymore than dinner normaly would and it makes it special for us.
    • Angela Andrews Rent a pontoon down at Noosa river, take your lover there unknowingly...cruise down the river where you step off the pontoon onto a sandbank....there is a blanket some food and champaign...you can relax in each others company and watch the sunset...the pontoon only cost a few dollars and food and champaign is not too expensiveand living is Noosa is the best though....
    • Blueeyed Evilprincess
I would send my kids to my mother inlaws for the night, run my man a hot bubble bath with lovely oils in it and sprinkle rose petals in the bath light candles and have nice romantic music playing softley through the house and have the house... smelling of the sent of rose oil in burners with candle light on the table and have a rlly nice dinner made for us for when he got out of the bath then spend the night cuddled up watching movies hugging and kissing as if we where on our 1st date all over again :)See More
    • Denise McLeod My Valentine suggestion on a budget is a candlelit dinner at home with romantic music for two, followed by a relaxing, luxurious aromatherapy massage for each other by each other with relaxing music and a little more candle light than at dinner.
    • Emmy BunniNducks Mummy I'd say a nice way to have a romantic experience without the price tag would be to make up a Picnic dinner and have a picnic of the beach and watch the sunset, beautiful and as it gets cooler you can have a snuggle.
    • Karina Wong Stay single!
    • Joanne Flower Nothing says love more than a joint U bank account
    • Carolyn Picton see the sun come up with a picnic breakfast, overlooking the ocean, spend the day together swimming and relaxing and then see the sunset with a picnic and have candles around your picnic area overlooking the ocean
    • Carlene Barrett spend the day together doing something you both enjoy, no phones, no interuptions, a homemade picnic lunch with special treats, on a blanket, on a quite riverbank.
    • Paul Buckley get up early and do the washing, vacuum the floors and make the house sparkling so when she wakes up she will have nothing to do, and some choc's as well
    • Trina Picker make hubby brecky in bed. then spoil him with a nice home cooked meal that night and spend the day together withour kids
    • Angela May Smith I would do a day spa at home with milk and honey baths, massages and facials. a cheap and fun way of pampering the spouse.
    • Elliott E Fisher I bought a little $1.99 valentine shaped iced cake at Safeway's bakery dept. and decorated it there during a promotion on Friday. She loved the unique message I wrote on it for her. Just being with my wife makes my day - especially on Valentine's Day!
    • Sarah Aubrey We cancelled our lunch and just hung out at home (saved a couple of hundred bucks). Then went out for a free dinner with the cast of Happy Feet 2 with Robin Williams and Elijah Wood and it didn't cost us a cent. Good day.
    • Olivia Flanagan i sent my hubby to be a care package, which included a card and a photo of the kids, then sent him a lovely email telling him how mich i loved him and couldn't wait for him to be back in australia, plus our son got on the phone and made his daddy's day
    • Melanie Croke made my partner a "personal cheque book". In this booklet is "cheques" that he can use at anytime. Each "cheque" is for a different favour. for example: One 5 minute back massage or a 5 minute foot rub.
He just loved the idea and it didnt cost us a cent to make.
    • Ben Bootsma I made chocolate eclairs from ingredients in the cupboard. Bought some red food dye to make the whipped cream pink for a few dollars and voila! Romantic, delicious dessert!
