Recently I had to create 80 thumbnail posters for a typography poster project. The requirements were that it had to be hand drawn with sharpie on 3×5in. index cards and mounted on a 30×20in. board. Extra requirements were to only use the letters of the alphabet once uppercase and once lowercase, the numbers 0-9, and use the word “typography.” So heres a panoramic picture and a coupe of gliter shots of the project. After we finished the 80 thumbnails my professor gave out an activity to do. Choose one and make a type poster using Adobe Illustrator. I sketched out my thought processes on how it should be and the final product. There are variations of the same ones but I decided not to post all of them.
