i think we should also concentrate on the urban sector as well ,because most unemployed ppl in india live in urban areas that will benefit complete india. as i heard a news from a news channel that NREGA is moving for the urban sector as well.
i think its a very good move

The reason why there is so much unemployment in urban areas is because of migration beause there is no work in rural areas!!!

one of the aims of NREGA is to arrest rural to urban migration. This concpt will be totally defeated if it is extended to urban areas in its present format.
