Recover Faster ~ Train Harder ~ Perform Better
Products:
nuBound recovery supplement supplies nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA. When you're recovering from exercise, your body builds new cells and new protein. The first step in building a new cell is to replicate the DNA of the original cell. The first step in building protein is to make an RNA copy of the code for that protein.

Substantial research on dietary nucleotide supplementation supports the conclusion presented in the Physician’s Desk Reference, that “under conditions of metabolic stress and rapid cell growth, dietary nucleotides become conditionally essential nutrients”.

Dietary nucleotides play a significant role in the modulation of the immune system. Exercise-induced immunosuppression, particularly among endurance athletes, is a well documented phenomenon. The benefit to athletes from fewer colds and infections is obvious. Less obvious is the relationship of a healthy immune system to recovery. The stress of training is meant to elicit training adaptations as part of recovery and it is the immune system that provides the signaling pathway for initiation of these changes.
