Furthermore, I hope those banners that you are shipping from North America are being sea shipped and not flown!!! The carbon footprint from an air flight would be horrendous! If our opponents get word of this they will call us hypocrites! Next time i suggest you use an untreated sustainable paper product sourced from Aotearoa! Think people!

@Rodney Cargill, I'd love to see the printable material made from banana leaves that banners can be made from. Please add a link...

Just to note, we donated the banners to the event and it was our choice to use the materials for this project.

Go Metiria! If we all stop using fuel powered transport and stop buying any thing made of plastic/resins etc, we can put our money where our mouths are! C'mon people stop flying, driving and dont buy ANY plastic based products (including your PC's... there are non plastic ones available now). Together we can make the world a less carbonated place!

All this money spent for Oil! Oil users should be ashamed. I never use oil. I refuse to use oil powered transport, buy any plastic/resins because thats made from oil too you know (although I admit my PC is made of plastic).

Phill Goff for PM 2011. Be nice to have a charismatic honest PM like Phil. Labour and the Greens must work together. Without peace between the parties Phil may miss out. Young Labour are looking at ways to raise Phil's lagging profile.. Suggestions include a stint on ROVE live and a Harley Tour around NZ. Please let us know your suggestions. Cheers, Rod

Thanks for all the Phil Goff suggestions. I've been getting alot of valid criticism from our Green friends that a Harley Davidson Tour around NZ would produce an unacceptable carbon footprint so that idea is no longer being considered. Keep the ideas coming. Together the Green Party and Labour Party can make it happen for Phil in 2011
