I hope not. Don't get me wrong, Pursuit of Destiny is a decent enough site (specifically 148's log posts). There are just way more innovative campaigns on Obsidian Portal that are much better examples of the great things you can use ALL of OP's features.

I guess it depends on whether the featured campaign is just props to well-known people or supposed to showcase the campaigns that show off Obsidian Portal features the best, due to the hard work of the participants?

Dom,

Obviously we're psyched as hell to have well-known people on OP, and we want to brag about it as much as we can. Plus, Pursuit of Destiny is a pretty popular campaign, with almost 70 fans. It's definitely a crowd pleaser.

That being said, we definitely try to use the featured slot as a way of showcasing all the great work people put into their campaigns. Look at previous featured campaigns and you will definitely see that.

Obsidian Portal,

I did not intend to chastize you for something that had not even occurred and still may not. It is very true that prior Featured Campaigns did exactly what you say they did; showcased the great work people did with their campaigns. I hope that my words are moot.

My intent was and is still to communicate my hope that "how famous you are" isn't one of the deciding factors, when there are so many great sites that don't have 70+ cross-over fans to know about them already.... See More

Being recognized for your hard work is nice for everyone, but especially so when you have done a better job at what are said to be the criteria and don't happen to have an ready-made fan-base.

I'm saying this having found your site from the original news post Mike made on Penny Arcade, mind you.
