Village Realty OBX Quick video of Beach Road in Kitty Hawk around 12pm. Much of Beach Road in Kitty Hawk is closed due to ocean overwash, sand and debris.
Village Realty OBX Video of Kitty Hawk in the area of Lindberg Ave. Kitty Hawk experienced a lot of ocean overwash causing flooding between Beach Road and the Bypass.
Village Realty OBX Avalon Pier in Kill Devil Hills around 11:30am. Roads in Kill Devil Hills are covered with sand and debris. Some areas are also covered in water and impassable around MP6.
Village Realty OBX We continued our trek north to Woodmere Beach Access in Kill Devil Hills. This video was shot around 11am and water levels were really high - the next high tide of 4pm is not looking good. It appears those dune walkways survived but if you look closely some pilings are just dangling.
