Crystal Hinkson Do I absolutley need to wait 6 months b4 I put any coral in my tank? I just started it. I am going to wait 2 weeks b4 I put in any shrimp, and etc.. and 1 month for some fish, but I'm wanting some clown fish and they need something to live in. What do I do?

Absolutely not. As long as you've cycled your tank with your live rock & (preferably) live sand you are good to start SLOWLY adding livestock in a month. Once your tank is cycled you'll want to start off with some crabs & snails to start working on cleaning the tank; then you can start adding fish. Some people prefer to get the fish in a new tank for a couple of weeks before adding an anemone. Many corals you can start adding when you start adding your fish.
