Justin Stubbs Have been a 'casual' modeller for 25 years, now that my 9yr old wants to join in, i need to up a gear, any advice on the whole airbrushing phenomenon would be very much appreciated..... Ive got a tamiya 1:48 f-14 to finish properly, and my 9yr old and i are going great guns on the 1:48 airfix red arrow..... Happy new ...year to all, any detailed replies to my in-box, am near Peterborough, UK, if theres such a thing as a hobby club nearby. Many thanks,

Steve Wilson-Burgess Wishing you all A Happy Peaceful and Productive New Year,

Juan Navalón Revell have a Mirage IIIE and is possible to do also a IIR too. But the IIIE proposed is a "bicentennial". I realize this painting the numbers and the squadron on tail... inspiration was the ancient comic "Tanguy et Laverdure"... the kit not is the best of this model... the cockpit is better make it open, but i prefer closed.

Bob Wright Just got myself 1:48 bac lightning can't wait to start on it

Tjmodels Hughes looking for airfix in your area? www.tj-models.co.uk ;)

Juan Navalón This is a never seen "Mirage IIIC2", kit from "eastern express"... 1/72, not good quality of kit...

Randal Hi this is my First Prize winning 1/48 Canberra PR-9 XH131 which I entered in the Ulster Aviation Society Christmas model competition. The crew compartments are resin aftermarket, (sorry Airfix, couldn't live with the B-(1)8 cockpit parts!) The undercarriage is from SAC, to hold up the (scale) ton of lead over the no...sewheel. Finally, apologies for the poor photo using my mobile, I forgot to bring my "proper" camera...

Dan Brock is really happy although not all airfix has just got some new kits. the p-38 lockheed lightning, boeing b-47 bomber, hawker tempest, p-47 thunderbolt, supermarine walrus mk1, hawker hurricane mk2, f14 jet and the supermarine spitfire mkvb 1:48 scale,

Alan Limerick progress on the 1/72 concorde, its huge!! It now has a coat of halfords appliance gloss white on it and another one to come. im planning to display it on its wheels with the nose up as that is how the real G-BOAA is displayed a few miles from my house at East Fortune.
