I love my Old Bay and use it on so many dishes, but lately, I am fond of Shrimp Quesadilias-I use the regular flour tortillas, four Mexican shredded cheese, whole medium cooked shrimp, plenty of Old Bay and salt sprinkled over the cheese and Shrimp, cover with another flour tortilla and cook with a quesadillia maker (o...r fry in oil in frying pan). Marijke Doemges Fried shrimps with cream, basil leaves and Old Bay. Put it on pasta. So yum!

Cooking entitles one to be creative with spice.....Experiment by using the Bay in place of other seasonings. Salad dressings, flavoring mayo, mustard and other sauces. A light rub on any meat, fish or poultry is a great flavoring.

I dry rub meats and smoke them, I've been using old bay as a base and add brown sugar. This gives the finished ... Read Moreflavor a savory sweet-spice flavor. You can also liquify this and inject it into the meat for an even more "through flavoring." Just be careful, the finished product might taste like Hot Buffalo Wings, first bite and everybite there after has no taste because of the burn....the sugar cuts the heat. I experimented, don't have a recipe for the mix, but it just works-Mark
