About onething Regionals:

A conference ministry with powerful times of worship and bold teaching from the Word; both in the U.S. and in other nations. Equipping young adults as forerunners and encouraging them to live wholeheartedly for God, to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit, reach the lost, serve the poor, and heal the sick.

onething conferences are FREE! We do not charge admission.

Examples of ways you can help; putting up posters, giving out postcards, sharing a dvd about onething (we send all three of those out to you for free), letting your community know we're coming to your area, passing around info on facebook...and more. Following every onething Regional Conference there will be a Luke18 Fuel School.

Your safety is a big concern to us, and anyone (including people that are not fans) can see this page.

We barely had a problem with this until it started getting closer to onething09. We are so glad that you've wanted to be with us, but this is not the place to find rides, housing etc. And, since the Awakening Meetings are starting again, we just want to remind you that you cannot look for transportation on this page, or housing...or post that you will provide either of those.

If you find housing from some source near IHOP-KC: pray if that's where you're supposed to be, and make sure it's really ok. Scams will be out there, as well as not so nice people seeing a great way to make money, or worse.

We are not to walk in fear, but we are to get wisdom from the Lord...pray for wisdom.

Do not plan to sleep in your car: it is extremely cold here, and it will most likely be found out. You are not allowed to sleep in the Prayer Room.

Another reason for not posting on here about the above things: this is a page used for onething and IHOP-KC. If people start posting personal messages the page will get full of them. You won't even be able to find things about onething or IHOP-KC on here :)

This post is to introduce you to Jacob Ferrell, the Luke18 Regional Coach for the Southeast Region. He is excited about attending the onething Raleigh/Durham regional, and would love to meet those of you that have a burning desire to lead and/or raise up prayer groups in your area!

Luke18's mission is to serve those that have a passion for the prayer movement. After onething Raleigh/Durham is over, Jacob will be the speaker at the Luke18 Fuel School in November; the place and date will be announced soon. The date of onething Raleigh/Durham is November 6-7, 2009. Registration is FREE!

Below are some questions Jacob has answered so you can get to know him better! At the bottom of the post is a link to his soon coming Bio page, and an email address where you can contact him with any questions.

How long have you been interested in intercession?

Jacob: I've been involved with the prayer movement for the last 7 years; but I started leading intercessory prayer meetings when I was a senior in high school.

What is your advice for those that have had a difficult time starting an intercessory type group in the past?

Jacob: Don't quit. Keep praying. The Lord loves your prayers, and He will send people your way who will stand with you in prayer. The Lord will give you the grace to keep going and thrive in the midst of opposition.

What stirs your heart the most about being a part of Luke18?

Jacob: The Lord really wants to send revival to America; specifically on College Campuses. If we cry out He will visit us and we can see our universities turned to Jesus. Imagine, fiery and anointed prayer meetings on EVERY college campus! This will surely be the catalyst to see revival and a great move of God in our day among our generation.

What will you be focusing on at the Fuel School in Raleigh/Durham?

Jacob: Our focus will be on the practicals of what it means to plant and fuel a prayer furnace. What does it look like? What can we expect? What should we avoid? Most importantly, what are the practical steps I need to take to see an enjoyable and consistent prayer meeting established on my campus? . There will also be times of extended Q & A and times of prayer and impartation. We want to equip and fuel prayer furnaces. Come join us!
