OnlineClock Hey Clock Fans: The Flying Pendulum Clock here is a bit unlike any other clock we've seen before. It has a flying pendulum on a string which wraps and unwraps around two axles, in order to keep the time.

Ignatz Flying Pendulum Clock (Adler Christian Clausen, 1883, USA; Ignatz: the mouse in the old Krazy Kat comic strip). I bought this fancy replica in Vinci, Italy (Leonardo's hometown), for 70Euro. It runs for 12 hours, and is rather accurate. See also 2/2 (Camera rotation 90 deg ccw).
