I’m also interested in the issue of better serving news media sites, which Kathy Barnstorff from NASA raises below. DePaul University in Chicago offers journalists a searchable online faculty expert database that features 400 professors available for journalist interviews on about 500 subjects (http://newsroom.depaul....edu). My question is: if we started adding videos of these experts talking about the hot issue of the day, would you use these clips (if so, in what format?), just view them to get a flavor of what the expert has to say before deciding whether to contact him/her for an interview, or not view the videos? We also welcome other feedback to make our experts guide more useful to you. Thanks.
