Natalie Khambi Hello; I started a travel agency 3 years ago in Cape Town, South Africa as I'm very skilled in business management. I do however would like to get more involved operationally and start training as a travel consultant with all the relevant courses, eg. 1 CRS, introduction course to travel etc. Where would you suggest I start? Do you have south africans that have trained with you and is it possible you put me in touch with someone to learn about their experience. I work full time so this facility suite me perfectly as I can do it in my own time.

I would suggest you to take some free courses first.
If you want a travel agent qualification, you can take a CRS training. A "full introduction" package will give you a good overview of a system and since it's online, you can do it at your own pace without any rush.
I am sorry I can't give you any of the candidates details but I am sure there are some on facebook! :)

Kunwar Ajeet Singh Gemma you might have Heard about Worldspan as well I would suggest you to do that as its very user friendly and easy and if WSPAN is not avaliable then go for Amadeus as most of the Airlines use that.

Gemma Hello, I have been working for 3 years in the tour operator side of travel and wanting to get in to the retail side of travel, but finding it hard as i do not have view data experience. Do any of you no of any courses i can do? i've find a course called view data training, it costs £199 by travel training, has any of you done this or got any good advise? thanks Gemma
