The Campaign to End Rape has put together a survey to find out what women think and know about rape. It is aimed at any woman, whether or not you have experienced rape. They are using the word rape to mean unwanted sexual acts that you are willing to tell them about. The survey is open until 20th November.
The informati...on that they collect from this survey will be used to draw attention to women’s ideas about rape, what we want, whether we can find what we need after rape and what is happening in the law, from women’s perspectives.Read More

The script for Rattle & Roll is developing well. Writer Catrina McHugh has been back to the groups involved in creating the characters with a storyboard explaining ideas for the script. These groups have contributed so much throughout the process of creating Rattle & Roll and continue to do so...

Open Clasp Theatre Co are delighted that Catrina McHugh has been nominated for an award in recognition of her continuous work within the voluntary sector. We think she really deserves it. We'll find out if she won at the North East VCS Awards Ceremony on 26 November.

Open Clasp Theatre Co ran a workshop at the LGBT Health Summit in Newcastle this week. We used the characters of Sammy and Jo from A Twist of Lemon to look at same-sex domestic violence. It went really well. Thanks to Eva and Annie for all their hard work.
