Great to see him in action. The EUMAP program of the Open Society Institute has been supporting his work over the past several years, as follow-up advocacy to the Equal Access to Quality Education for Roma reports. I have no idea what Madonna hoped to accomplish. I don't think she's looked a poor person in the eyes since 1982. But, on the reverse side, I've met dozens of Romanians who've never been to my country, yet are eager to tell me what they think of American society or Obama. Guys, she sucked at too many things during the show so people were booing her more than the true meaning of the message.
Don't worry about discrimination in Romania. We are quite ok.
And then, after all, in Romania you get discriminated regardless of your ethnic origin. Romanians get discriminated by the Government/gypsies want to be positively discriminated/elder people are financially discriminated/rural area is totally discriminated aso. What the f... are we talking about?
