OU School of International and Area Studies Smile Colombia Foundation’s first official event, Salsa for Kids will be at Mangos Club (Reno and Meridian OKC) on November 13th! The cover will be $10 and all door proceeds will go to children and families in Colombia. Dr. Marc W. D. Tyrrell is a Social Anthropologist who is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Canadian Centre for Intellige...nce and Security Studies of Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. His current work focuses on culture and military operations, especially with respect to Counterinsurgency. Dr. Tyrrell is co-author with Major Robert Thornton and John Fishel of Security Force Assistance: The Mosul Case Study, in the Small Wars Journal (online) and by the Joint Center for International Security Force Assistance at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
