Cichlidae is the family and i havent heard anything either they just suck you in with free gear and drop you......

I just want the startlike pics to stop coming up ever time I open anything else. i don't need to see the same picture 30 times a day or more.

I also signed up, recieved an email from lifefitter and have set my start page.

I set the homepage and got logged out, can't log back in, and I have no idea what to do with the homepage?

@Denise - the only way you could see the site every time you open a browser is if you set it as your homepage. Just look for your browser prefs and change it to whatever site you want. Sorry you don't like it. Maybe Google "How to set homepage on XYZ browser". Replace "XYZ" with whatever browser you use.

@Megan - For what you should do...please see FAQ #5 in the link above. As to being "logged out" there really isn't a "log in". If you want to comment, or use features, they are powered by Facebook Connect....so if you post a comment, it will prompt you to connect. I hope this helps.

I've read the blog at the link provided and I believe that I'm an active beta user. I should have or be receiving a free gift in the program as you advertised. If you're looking for "REAL users with a REAL desire to see the project be successful" then you need to back up your claims. Thank you in advance.

So I should use the features in order to be considered active? I don't understand how to send in feedback or became a "community" with the other members...

@Scott - I assure you we have logged every action you have taken since the beta invite hit your inbox. If you have been using the site as discussed on our blog then expect to be pleasantly surprised. We still have a few more features to roll out before closing the beta so be on the lookout for those (as you know from using the site it's no secret when there are new features).

Personally I enjoy startlike, and the pics and camaraderie of the users. I do have a question about our activity on the site - if you regularly dump your "cache" and cookies and temp internet files, does that sever your "link" to being considered a beta tester? I was concerned that I might have erased the cookie you used to track my activity...? Dumb question? :)

@Karl - we imbedded a tracking ID in your beta invite. If you go into your browser prefs your homepage should be set to something like this....

It was done that way to avoid lost cookies. We use cookies for other stuff but we don't rely on them for tracking the beta promo. We're not claiming it will be perfect but we expect it should be pretty close.... See More

Funny how people freak out. You didn't have it before and you don't have it now so nothing has changed. Get over it. Obviously posting on here is doing no good.

I signed up for the beta back in January and haven't seen any more emails from you.
