Janet Silvester

Janet Silvester I've voted for Ovacome on the Mashable 2009 open web awards, please do likewise, especially if you know someone who has had ovarian cancer. My auntie Lesley Simpson died with this awful disease.

Ovacome - The Ovarian Cancer Support Network Almost 40% of British people would put off seeing a doctor about
suspected cancer symptoms because they did not want to bother them,
according to a survey to be presented today. http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2009/oct/07/britons-cancer-symptoms-doctor-afraid

british doctors arent too clever at detecting it anyway. they tend to brush you off as having ibs or crohns disease..... we need more doctors to sit up and listen when we tell them there is something wrong with our bodies. we are, the ones living inside it, we know when somethings not right. we may not have the qualifications but SIT UP AND LISTEN
