Save the date for Inter-Action 2010, a 3-day immersion in service, learning, and fun over Intersession break! The program runs from Sunday, January 24, through Wednesday January 27. Inter-Action 2010 is brought to you by USG, the Pace Center, SVC, and Community House. It is open to all undergraduate students—regardless... of previous civic engagement experience—at no cost. We hope that you will be a part of this student-planned and student-run initiative!
Here's a taste of what this program will look like. After introductory activities on Sunday, each of the three days will consist of three modules to take place in Trenton and Princeton: a hands-on service activity, a practical learning activity, and a discussion-provoking evening activity. Princeton students will make an impact through direct volunteering with organizations in Princeton and Trenton and will develop their capacities for long-term impact through engaged learning about community development and social action, along with fun evening experiences that foster discussion, debate, and reflection.
Meals, transportation, and t-shirts will be provided!
What are you waiting for? Register today at pace.princeton.edu/interaction2010!
Registration will run from November 15 through December 1, 2009. For more information, please visit the Inter-Action 2010 website here: pace.princeton.edu/interaction2010. Please contact Andrew Seligsohn (aseligso@princeton.edu), Director of Civic Engagement Learning in the Pace Center, with questions or for more information.
