This has to be one of the most unique mountain biking trips going as it is surely a rare glimpse within a Kingdom that has an enforced border requiring a permit and limiting terrain locked between Himalayan peaks and the Tibetan plateau. If you walk down the streets of Leh you find hundreds of shops selling t-shirts based on various treks in Ladakh. Ask any of them for a Nebuk La t-shirt and you are met with a blank stare. Nebuk La pass is hardly on the tourist map. This is one of the reasons why I thought of attempting this trek.
