217 is a young group but with a rich background and experience due to their passion and talent for music.
Comprised of 5 people (3 performers and 2 producers) they stand as an alternative to the Greek Music Scene.

Niko (Rap/Lyrics), Elias (Rap.Lyrics) and Maria (Vocals) unfold their talent on Manolis' and Sherif's music, and show that fun, Pop/Funk/Soul music can coincide with meaningful quality lyrics, and entertain the crowd with their stage presence and talent.

Already, with a single released, and 2 video clips 217 have been appreciated and respected by the people and record labels.

Every Member has personal experience that is brought into the group, but as 217, they have avhieved experience and a rich resumee due to the fun atmosphere that exists within the band. Sherif a.k.a AlgoRhythm (Dj of 217) and Manolis (Snap Your Fingaz) in particular have made a Remix for B-Sykes's single "Greek Ladies" featuring Dimitris Metzelos (Imiskoumbria) and Zeraw (Tang Ram) achieving a respectable position in the charts. Maria has appeared as a guest on a track "The Message" by Tawfiq, which is coming out worldwide.

And Recently a 217 track has been included in the cd collection "addictive sounds Vol1" from alpharecords.

As 217 they have performed on many concerts and performances , out of which the most special ones were at the EarthDance Festival and Athens Tuning Show where they performed their hit "Prepei Ti Fasi Na Pame Psila" (We must take the scene higher), a street racing track that came out as a video clip on several issues of the car tuning magazine XL, noting a remarkable success.

After the Release of their debut single "To Nisi/ I Agapes Pou Xanontai" (The Island/ Love lost) 217 received and accepted offers to perform live in many places in Greece. They performed tracks of the single at several major parties and clubs of which the biggest one was at 'Booty Call' Parties by Magna (Previous Guests of Magna were artists and Djs such as Trevor Nelson (MTV), Memphis Bleek, Snoop Dogg and more) Salonika " Lido " in front of a huge crowd were they received the admiration of all.

At the moment 217 have plenty of new tracks as they are preparing their debut Album which is estimated that it will be released in the summer. It will be full of fresh music and themes but at the same time retaining the Pop/Funk/Soul and pumping music element that 217 is known for. (read less)
