3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scouts The Group's traditional venture out onto the water on Boxing Day. Fortunately the weather stayed fine for us this year with lots of sun and light winds, even if it was a little cold.

3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scouts The Groups tradition of boating on Boxing Day stems it early years, when boys would row out to Canvey Point with a hamper for the lighthouse keeper. The lighthouse is now long gone, but the tradition remains, so why not come and join us for a quite trip round the bay, then maybe some mince pies with family and friends.
