5 Second Rule
The annual benefit for the O’Flaherty Irish Music Retreat at Trinity Hall Pub in Dallas beginning at 4 p.m. till 10 p.m. The Trinity River Whalers will follow and play till closing. If you are in the area, we hope you will join us for some great Irish music by some of the top bands in Dallas and a couple of newcomers.... Admission is free and there will drawings throughout the night. Also, please dine at the pub and 50% of the receipts will be donated in support of the retreat. Here are the performing bands and their times:

Through the magic of music, travel to the shores of Ireland or the highlands of Scotland! Four Winds Celtic Music Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20, at the Four Winds Faire site between Whitehouse and Troup.
In its second year, the festival offers a variety of talented and nationally recognized musi...cians as they play new and traditional Celtic and folk tunes, celebrating the spirit of both Celtic and American heritage. On Saturday, artists include Shauna Burns, 5 Second Rule, Tim Glennon, Bob Jordan, The Jed Marum Band, Curtis Monson, ParaCelt and Willow.
The main attraction on Sunday is Desiree and New Texas Tribe. Lead singer Desiree Stephens is a native of Whitehouse and is a nationally recognized recording artist in folk/country music.
Four Winds features plenty of seating in a parklike atmosphere, food and beverages and Celtic and folk musical acts for the weekend, rain or shine. Festival hours noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and 2-7 p.m. Sunday. Adult admission is $12; kids 12 and under are free.
